Blue Boat Group was founded two decades ago by two friends whose paths first crossed in Oxford.

In Oxford, rowing is part of the fabric of university life. The leading crews representing Oxford are known as the Blue Boats. The annual Boat Race with Cambridge began in 1829, and its crews have long stood for preparation, resilience and the strength of moving together.

That spirit informs our work today. We partner with entrepreneurs building enduring businesses, bringing patient capital and practical operating experience to the same table.

Blue Boat Group has since expanded and today is backed by family offices of successful technology entrepreneurs and long-term strategic investors. It operates discreetly as both an investment vehicle and an operating group, owning a portfolio of businesses across Asia and Europe.
